(While in my happy place, I see you clicking play to enjoy the music while you read and gaze upon beauty.)
Head bowed and eyes closed, light streams in around me.
I ask. I seek. I knock.
Troubled by what I cannot see, I need faith for the unknown.
Then speaks a gentle whisper:
Open your eyes, child. There is much to see if you but look.
My eyes open to behold wonder.
In the chaos and the darkness, will we close our eyes and declare there is nothing to see?
Or will we listen for the whisper of life; hearing with the tenacity of hope?
What will you open your eyes to see?
My friends, there is nothing ordinary about a miracle.
God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend. (Job 37:5)
Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Who laid its cornerstone,
when the morning stars sang together
and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.
For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived,
ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.
So they are without excuse.
